Precautions for the Health of All

Based on the ODH recommendation detailed below, masks are required at our Worship Service times in all areas and anytime you’re on campus for any event or gathering. Social distancing and the other precautions we have in place will continue as well (read more below). Thank you for your cooperation and partnership in helping us maintain a priority on the health of everyone but, especially the most vulnerable members of our congregations and communities.

On Tuesday, October 13, 2020 the Ohio Department of Health and the office of Gov. Mike DeWine updated their COVID-19 guidelines for religious services. Our leadership continues to look to the guidelines outlined by the experts at the Centers for Disease Control, the Ohio Department of Health, and the office of the Ohio Governor as we have since March.

The update outlined the following: During the COVID-19 pandemic, religious services have been exempted from most mandates because of First Amendment freedoms, with the exception of the Director’s Order for Facial Coverings Throughout the State of Ohio which members of the congregation must still follow. Teens

Teens meet in the Activity Center at 9:00 am and attend the 10:30 Worship Service. Masks and social distancing guidelines are followed for teens for Sunday mornings and teen events.

Infants to 6th Graders

Children’s ministry is offered at 10:30 am only. This allows our adults and teens who serve our Children’s Ministry to attend the 9:00 AM service and serve in Children’s at 10:30 AM. Check-in for Children’s Ministry will begin at 10:15 am on Sunday mornings. We have separate classrooms for Nursery and Preschool that will allow us to best serve both age groups. For security purposes, only teachers and children will be allowed passed this check in station. This is not only for safety and security purposes but it also reduces the number of people in this space after it has been sanitized and prepared for the kids. Children in K-6th should wear masks and we will follow the social distancing guidelines. Masks are not required for Nursery or Preschool children. All adult and teen volunteers are required to wear masks while serving anywhere on our campus.

Frequently Asked Questions (updated 4/2021)

Do we have to register for weekly services?

As of Monday, April 5, you no longer have to register for our weekly worship services.

Precautions we’re taking:

Our leadership has also outlined a detailed plan to create a touch-less experience as much as possible. For our worship gatherings, we have greeters at the doors to open the door for you and pod seating with 6′ social distancing with those in the same household. Hand sanitizer stations are available. Masks or face coverings are required anytime you’re on our campus as recommended by the CDC and detailed by Gov. DeWine (10/13/20). We have disposable masks available if you don’t have one of your own. We understand that there are many differing opinions on wearing masks and that some people have health concerns that prevent them from wearing a mask. We ask that you extend “space and grace” as everyone. We have a tithe drop box available instead of passing an offering plate. You can also give online through our website and Church Center App. We don’t do a hand-shake greeting time and we’re taking special precautions for invitation and response time. In our restrooms, we have hands-free options such as faucets, soap dispensers, and paper towel dispensers. We clean and sanitize between services. We ask that you arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your service time to allow us ample time to do this.

Can I still watch online?

Pastor Dave’s messages will continue to be available online on Sunday mornings. Access Pastor Dave’s message on our website, Facebook or YouTube Channel.
